Hung Yen Tourism Promotion and Information Center Attends the Survey and the Conference “Lang Son – Spiritual Tourism Destination”
On the morning of February 23rd, 2017, Lang Son Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism organized the conference “ Lang Sơn – Spiritual Tourism Destination” aims to introduce, promote the potential, strengths and spiritual tourism products of the province at Muong Thanh Hotel, Lang Son city. This is one of important events in the chain of events of “Lang Son Tourism and Cultural week 2017”
Attending the conference were leaders of Lang Son province people’s committee, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Tourism Association; authorities of spiritual Tourism, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Centers of Tourism Information Promotion of provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Vinh Phuc; Travel Agencies in and outsside of the province.
Opening the conference, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu – Vice Chairman of Lang Son province people’s committee said that tourism was the important economy sector of the province.It has much potential to develop tourism in general and spiritual tourism in particular, embodied in the thickness associated with tradition, religion and beliefs.
At the conference, participants gather to discuss, given the review about reality of spiritual activities of Lang Son, proposed solutions aimed at exploiting effectively the spiritual values of tourism development, promote the tourism association to build the spiritual tourism products, create movement for spiritual tourism; moreover, recommending some spiritual tourism programs in the province.
Earlier on Feburary 22nd, 2017, the survey to some typical spiritual destinations in Lang Son was held.
Attending the Survey and Conference “Lang Son – Spiritual Tourism Destination” is a chance for Hung Yen tourism to exchange and widen the kink among provinces in the The Red River Delta and surroundes in terms of promoting the tourism.
