Hung Yen Promotes Tourism in Vietnam International Travel Mart – VITM Hanoi 2017

VITM Hanoi 2017 with the theme "Hanoi – The destination of Vietnam in 2017" takes place from April 6th to April 9th, 2017 at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition at 91 Tran Hung Dao street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, Vietnam.

This year, VITM Hanoi 2017 attracts about 500 booths of enterprises, tourism authorities from 45 provinces, cities of Viet Nam and 25 countries and territories in the world. One of the highlights of VITM Hanoi 2017 is the International Street Food Festival held for the first time. The festival will have the participations of dozens of domestic and international famous chefs with the purpose of promoting street food of Viet Nam and bringing visitors unique street food experiences of Viet Nam and some countries in the region such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Japan, Korea, etc.
Along with the tourism stimulus programs, VITM Hanoi 2017 focuses on conferences, workshops, destination presentations such as meeting on “Action plan for implementation of Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing tourism into key economic sector”; opening ceremony of the Center for Culinary Research, Conservation and Development of Viet Nam; introduction of Cua Lo and Nghe An tourism; press conference “Announcing Viet Nam Tourism Skills Competition 2017”, etc.
VITM Hanoi 2017 also creates favorable conditions for Vietnamese people to explore and select international and domestic tours for their family trips. Participating in VITM Hanoi 2017, Hung Yen tourism co-operates with Hai Duong tourism to organize a tourism booth with the theme "Hung Yen - Hai Duong: link and development". At the booth, two provinces have exhibited and introduced their tourism and culinary products, handicraft villages, unique traditional arts and attractive tourism programs such as Pho Hien (Hung Yen), Me So pagoda (Van Giang), Chi Lang stork island so as to domestic and international tourists.
