La Tien banyan tree witnessed our citizens’ sacrifice and recorded the cruel crime of French colonist; it became a symbol of resilience of Hung Yen people.

It was built from 2003 to 2005 on the ground of Hoang family. The house is divided into 5 simple rooms following the traditional structure of the Northern Delta. Besides, there are some other works around the worshipping house such as guest house, the system of ground and garden, trees, half-moon lotus pond, flagstaff and so on. These works make the worshipping house more beautiful and solemn.

  •     Tran Temple locates on Bai Say street, Quang Trung ward, Hung Yen city. The Temple worships Tran Hung Dao – a talent general and a national hero in the 13th century. He was born on December 10th 1228 in a royal family. When the Mongol invaded Vietnam 3 times, Tran Hung Dao led Vietnam’s army the 2nd and the 3rd. With the wide military knowledge and the unlimited faithfulness, Tran Hung Dao defeated the invaders. After he died, people built temples in places where he used to choose to garrison the troops. Tran temple in Hung Yen city is one of those places.

  •     The temple which worships general Dinh Dien and his wife Phan Thi Moi Nuong was recognized as historical relic at national level by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 1997. Dinh Dien came from Gia Phuong commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province. He had merits to help King Dinh Bo Linh fight against 12 armies. When Le Dai Hanh became the King, Dinh Dien asked the King to let him and his wife came back to live in Dang Man. After he died, local people built a temple to worship him and his wife.

The temple was constructed under the reign of Nguyen Dynasty; its building components are harmoniously decorated to create a soft beauty and elegant style of Nguyen Dynasty’s structure.
