  •     The temple was built following the Nguyen Dynasty’s architecture with concrete and block exterior shape. By 1929, local people contributed their money and labor to restore the temple. The temple consists of three-door entrance gate, 02 bridges, stele house, 02 side houses and a main temple. The main temple situates in the center of the building, facing the Southeast. The front-worshipping house includes 05 rooms. The middle house has 24 small statues made of metal.

The memorial area is the place to commemorate great merits of Le Huu Trac. The relic group consists of Le Huu Trac memorial house, the house of worshipping Le Huu family, the Doctor’s house, the house of worshipping Le Huu Danh, the house of worshipping Le Huu Kieu, Le Huu grave of forefathers, To Co temple, etc.

  •     Ne Chau pagoda was built under the reign of Tien Le Dynasty in the 10th century. The pagoda was built by Ms Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thanh – the wife of King Le Hoan. Legend has it that when Le Hoa came here, he found that Ngoc Thanh was both intelligent and pretty. Therefore, he got married to her. Ms Ngoc Thanh had merits to help insurgents hide wages. She was a virtuous majesty, and was respected by the king and his officials.

  •     About 30 km to the East from Ha Noi, Nom pagoda locates in Dai Dong commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province. The pagoda has the name of “Linh thong co tu”. Legend has it that Nom pagoda was situated in an ancient pine forest in the past. Through historical ups and downs, it was restored in the 18th century, and it has total area of 15 ha nowadays.

  •     Bell pagoda locates at Nhan Duc commune, Hien Nam ward, Hung Yen city. Legend has it that in a cataclysmic year, a gold bell on a raft floating on the river to the alluvial ground of Nhan Duc Hamlet. People from many villages in the region came, trying to take the gold bell to their village but they failed. Only the elders of the Nhan Duc village could move the bell. The villagers built the Bell Temple to hang the bold bell. Every time the bell was hit, its sound went thousands of miles away. Thus the temple is called Bell Pagoda.

  •     Huong Lang pagoda (Minh Hai commune, Van Lam district) has pen-name of “Vien Giac Tu”. Also, local people call it Mr. Thunder pagoda. Legend has it that Huong Lang pagoda was built under the reign of Ly dynasty by Queen Mother Y Lan in 1115. The pagoda is one of 72 temples and pagodas built by Le Hau in order to vindicate 72 imperial maids under the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong.

  •     Da Hoa Temple locates in Binh Minh commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province. This temple worships Saint Chu Dong Tu and his two wives: Tien Dung princess and Tay Sa princess. Chu Dong Tu is one of 4 immortals spirits of Vietnam. He was a very poor man. But he could get married to Tien Dung princess. She was the daughter of the 18th Hung King. The love of Chu Dong Tu and Tien Dung has become one of the most beautiful love story of Vietnamese traditional literature.

  •     Vo Mieu temple locates at Trung Trac street, Quang Trung ward, Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province. It was built under the reign of Le Canh Hung King (1740) and it was restored many times under the reign of Hau Le Dynasty and Nguyen Dynasty. This is one of the remaining relics of the Chinese when they resided and did business in Pho Hien in the 16th century, and it has been conserved up to now.

  •     If Hanoi people (The first is Kinh Ky) are proud of Mai Dong tofu or Mo tofu, Hung Yen (The second is Pho Hien) inhabitants are proud of An Vy tofu, the specialty of Khoai Chau land. Up to now, this delicious dish has become a trade, creating good incomes for hundreds of families here. There are around 130 families making tofu in An Vy commune. Every day, these households make approximately 20kg - 30kg of soy-beans; some households can make more, from 30kg to 50kg of soy-beans.
